The Traffic Got Better, Not Just Bigger
The Challenge
A Website That Wasn't Answering Anyone's Question
Dr. Seltzer had the credentials, the location, and a loyal patient base; what the site lacked was content tailored for people who weren’t ready to book yet. Early visitors weren’t sticking around: low engagement, short sessions, and a site that leaned entirely on service pages. The practice had the credentials and the reputation; what it didn’t have was a website built to answer the questions bringing people to Google in the first place.
Working with Cory and his team has been incredible. Higher search rankings, more leads, and most importantly, more patients. It was truly a pleasure to work with BCC Interactive, and we will absolutely be doing business together again soon

Our Approach
The Strategy Started With a Question — to His Patients, Not Google
“Weight loss doctor” gets searches, but it’s got a low ceiling: everyone’s fighting for the same page, and it doesn’t capture the actual reasons people look for one. Dr. Seltzer already knew those reasons; he’s board-certified in both Obesity Medicine and Strength & Conditioning, one of the only physicians in the country with both, and his patients weren’t just asking about weight loss; they were asking how to build muscle without wrecking their joints, or how to lose weight on a schedule nobody designed a diet plan around. The site wasn’t built to say any of that out loud. So instead of starting with keyword research, we started with what his patients actually asked in the room and built the content from there.
1
Started with his actual expertise, not generic blog topics
Dr. Seltzer is one of the only physicians in the country board-certified in both Obesity Medicine and Strength & Conditioning, so instead of writing around that, we wrote directly from it. The content answered the questions his real patients ask, from people trying to build muscle the right way to people juggling weight loss with an irregular work schedule.
2
Built two flagship guides that became the site’s engine
“Bodybuilding Without Steroids” spoke directly to his strength-and-conditioning credentials; a night-shift weight-loss guide spoke to the real-life scheduling problems his weight-loss patients actually deal with. Together they drove over 16,000 pageviews in a single quarter at their peak.
3
Paired the Content With the Technical Work
Content alone doesn’t rank, so we paired the new articles with link acquisition and major technical SEO fixes to help the site compete for the volume it was targeting. That work paid off beyond the two flagship articles: geo-modified keyword rankings jumped from 34 to 115, with the practice landing #1 for “weight loss philadelphia,” “philadelphia weight loss doctor,” and “trt philadelphia” going from ranking for one service to owning the search results across multiple services.
4
Turned Two Articles Into a Repeatable Content Playbook
We took what made the two flagship pieces work a specific, real question, answered directly and used it as the template for what came next. That produced a content library built the same way: “Does BMI Matter?” “Women Weightlifting Myths,” “How Many Carbs Should You Eat to Lose Weight,” “High-Protein Breakfast Ideas.” Each one aimed at a specific question his patients were already asking, rather than a generic topic pulled from a keyword list.
Built to last
Content That Keeps Working
The two flagship articles weren’t a one-time spike. Page-one rankings kept climbing well past their launch, from 41 keywords to 189, with no additional spend. That’s the real difference between content and a media budget: one stops the moment you stop paying for it, the other keeps earning.
What started as a broker with almost no search presence outside referrals has become a business that owns page one in Google and the map pack in six Central Florida counties, with more on the way.
